Overview

From the perspective of development of smart mobile equipment market, it is a tendency to develop voice chip with higher performance, greater capacity of noise reduction and less power consumption. Especially, “voice wakeup” is emerging because it could truly make hands free. Voice recognition technology shall support voice wakeup in low power consumption status at any time. Knowles eS814 (DSP) + Bellamy (microphone) could facilitate PC, tablet PC or smart phone manufacturer to conveniently use voice recognition and wakeup technology and search or start using other function even in the status of low power consumption.

Features and Advantages

·      Stage 0: Detect “always-on” voice activity of Bellamy Knowles microphone; Stage 1: eS814 is waked up by Bellamy microphone to recognize key words and determine whether to wake up master control after voice activity is detected.

·      Ultra-low power consumption: Power consumption is 0.23mA and 1.55 mA in Stage 0 and Stage 1.

·      High accuracy of voice detection leads to low error rate of wakeup and reduces power consumption of the system.

·      It supports key words of OEM and defined by users.

·      It has such characteristics as complete audio recording, noise suppression, acoustic source localization and voice enhancement.
