Introduction of SLAMTEC 360° Laser Radar Set RPLIDAR A1M8
RPLIDAR A1 360° laser scanning range radar is a low-cost LIDAR solution developed by SLAMTEC. It carries out 360° laser scanning ranging within 6m radius on a 2D plane, and generates map information of 2D point clouds in the area. The cloud map information could be used in ground mapping, robot localization and navigation, object / environment modeling and other practical application. When sampling is set at the frequency of 360° per week, RPLIDAR scanning frequency reaches 5.5hz and is up to 10hz. With SLAMTEC-developed low-cost laser triangulation ranging system used, RPLIDAR does well in different indoor environment and outdoor environment with no direct sunlight.
